He will be in peace soon.... and Allie asserts her right to roam

Percy came in to my life at a time of deep sorrow for me. I had lost Nevile, via a South African and I was quite in consolerable.

Percy came, gently, but reliable quite randomly being sadly advertised for adoption by a chap in South London. His previous one lady owner (didn't look like a lady's name in the log back and radio pre-tuned to sport stations hmmmm) decided to move on and just like that it was all 'Percy and I'.

Percy has been recently renamed George by my colleauge who decided that Percy made him sound like a poofter - I pointed out that when I lived in Bethnal Green he didn't mind getting a lift home in a car named after an octartian who enjoyed the opera, say.

But it is with all this in mind, that today I report that this blog will no longer be just a tribute to Nevile but Percy also as he has been economically written off (I believe that gives him some dignity). Fairly convinant as his tax is due at the end of the month, but sad nonetheless and I think mertiable for a few moments quiet thought.

I would also like to sight Newquay as Percy's triumph - I secretly thought he would break down and there was something clearly grinding under the weight of our stuff - i just give thanks that Sully didn't bring any knickers as that could have been the proverbial straw to the camels back.

As a final thought, next time you get on a Bus, preferrably a 55, give it a kick or indeed drive a tank into it - the murderers!!!!!

In other much nicer news - Allie is now free to come and go as she sees fit. We were both really anxious about the road and her getting lost but so far so good - here she is peeping over the fence of next doors whilst sat on their shed.

She's actually a bit of a scardy cat and won't go out of our garden unless we are with her - which is fine by us as that will mean she is going to be our cat for a lot longer before she is slipper lining.

Lots of Love
Kat xxxx
