The truth about H's food diary....

I feel stormy weather
Moving in about to begin
Hear the thunder don't loose your head
Rip off the roof and stay in bed
Its raining men

Life imating Art. I love it! The whole thing with the flat is getting off the scale boring now but fingers crossed it will be done soon. Needless to say relations with neighbours, one in partiular is strained again.

So, to adopt her stylee, 'H' is under going major reinvention. 'You are what you eat' arrived today so I will approach washing up with caution from now on in the event of tupperware boxes turning up in abundance. I also see I have a clear role in insuring the truth is presented. Needless to say - H's food diary was shameful enough, it was also somewhat edited!!! Anyway, I think old H is perfect as she is but nevertheless I am sure I will be drawn in to this process so will keep you all up to date on 'left out' details.

Exam preparation going well, I think - can't tell really. The delievery of the qualification has been a sham I am sure only G can really appriciate. Today I emailed to ask whether it was a typo that one of the exams was open book as the books they are allowing just didn't fit in with the subject. I got an email back saying yes, it is an open exam, and I can bring those books in to one of the other exams too despite the entry card stating the contrary. This has been the general theme, if you don't ask, they won't tell you. The thing is the books we are allowed are generally an encylopedia of statute - only now I don't need to have memorised the facts, just the names of the cases/Acts. So what are they testing? just the application and no longer the knowledge? Oh, and of the 8 books listed, H informs me only 1 is in-print which was last published in 2002..... And for all those that haven't asked about the books (on my course, I was the only one) won't know now its an open book. Anyway, not a lot I can achieve from grumbling!
My parents have two new kittens. Their cats Bobby and Cuddles both passed away recently in a very short space of time which naturally was rather upsetting, not least because they were both rather splendid cats! Bobby actually had a loyalty card for the vets for the number of times he got in a fight and had to be checked up. Cuddles also had an incident or two, the worse obviously when she was hit by a car and became peg leg. I often think about Bob and Cuddles and think abouthow I got it so wrong with Allie - they were both incredibly tolerant, playful 'people cats'. Even the best spin doctor couldn't put Allie and tolerance in the same sentance and get away with it! Anyway - from all accounts these two new additions to the clan sound a right pair of scamps! I am a bit worried that they sound as though they have been cut from the same cloth that incarnated Allie - sod global warming, I really don't think the world can take that! Anyway, I haven't seen them yet other then a pic on the brief moment I am informed that they kept still.
I have offically opened 'Basements' which is my supermarket specialising in French groceries in our basement. I have not yet tired from 'going shopping' and have prohibited h from making purchases on Sundays. To be fair, as H is only allowed a bit of air and some grass in her diet I should ban her altogether.

and that's it for now!

Best get back to revising.

Love
'K' x
